Building Resilient Families

12-week Parent Education Workshops that include incredible years, Abriendo Puertas, Strengthening Families, 24/7 Dads, SEEDs of Early Learning and Triple P Level 3. Childcare during workshops to promote positive social, emotional, behavioral, and academic growth using Early Learning Opportunities, SEEDS, and Botvin’s Lifeskills Training

Parent-Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT)

Ten –one-hour sessions of parent coaching to address relationship enhancements, building nurturing relationships, and securing bonds between parent and child. To address discipline and compliance and establish a structured and consistent approach to discipline.

Baby Steps

Home Visitation services of one-hour sessions for up to six months that include parent education and case management to strengthen parent-child bonds through developmental guidance, parent psychoeducation, and guided parent-child interactions/coaching

Abrazos Por Vida

Provide parent education workshops, case management, and family engagement activities to support families with young children who may struggle with substance use, domestic violence, co-parenting, and parent-child relationships. Workshops include the following curriculums: Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors, Motherhood/ Fatherhood is Sacred, 24/7 Dads, and Triple P Levels 2 and 3.

Vietnamese Child Abuse Prevention Program

Services to families with children under the age of 5, including workshops for caregivers to learn child brain development and culturally competent positive parenting skills, Triple P and SEEDS, public awareness activities, including women support groups and engagement services to support child development of basic skills.

Child Abuse Prevention Services

Family Support Services to families with children with disabilities. Services are designed to enhance parents’ capabilities to foster the optimal development of their children, understand maladaptive behavior in children with disabilities, empower parents to advocate for their children’s needs, and assist parents in connecting to community supports

Child Abuse Prevention Services

Provide school-based prevention services at elementary and middle schools grades TK through eight, including workshops for students and teachers/educators to identify and express feelings, how to establish personal boundaries and coping skills, and how to identify safe people to approach when feeling uncomfortable. Includes Child Sexual Abuse Treatment and Prevention (CSATP) services to children who have experienced sexual abuse and build parenting skills to support children.

Child Abuse Prevention Program

Provide support in two elementary schools within the Franklin McKinley School District, providing tiered age-appropriate prevention education to students pre-K through 6th grade. Six interactive lessons to teach about personal safety, boundaries, and seeking help focused on communication, personal boundaries, recognizing boundaries, and understanding sexual harassment. Includes sexual abuse training for educators, restorative practices, and education and outreach to parents via newsletters to create awareness of resources available.

Provide support to fathers via workshops, parenting classes, support groups, and leadership development opportunities to empower fathers through 24/7 Dad and Triple P programs
